News Roundup: The Prince of Wales and the Porn Nazi

-Prince Charles be in Praha, y'all. Or at least he was on Sunday, a little bird tells me he might be heading to Moravia today. His royal presence has brought out a bunch of very unenthusiastic Czech monarchists (I didn't know they existed, either.)

-Gay bashing seems to be the new Czech national sport. Well, not really, since there's just a few players. After transport union leader Jaromír Dušek shared his wisdom on picking up pens, good ol' Topol figured he had somethin' to say on the topic, too. He shared some pearls at a photoshoot for a gay magazine that he was giving an interview for. I quote: "As for that Fischer, he’s a Jew, he’s not gay, and he’ll fold even sooner. It doesn’t have anything to do with being gay, it has to do with his character." Na-uh, you di'ent. Of course, Jan Fischer wasn't pleased and will keep conversation with Topol to a minimum.

-Uh-oh! Two Czech celebrity chefs, Zdeněk Pohlreich and Jiří Babica are having a bitch fest. Pohlreich started it by mocking Babica's lackadaisical approach to cooking (what he said in Czech over here). Babica replied by calling Pohlreich a baldhead that behaves like a baboon, which, you hafta hand it to him, is quite the beautiful insult.

-Not Prague related, but huge news for all our fellow Americans over here in Czechland: Public Option is on, y'all!

-Not Prague related either, but when I was in Germany visiting the rents, the news that Jesse James is fucking around on Sandra Bullock with this mess was on TV constantly, so I googled her and dressing up as a porn nazi is not cool.
